VE.Bus BMS V2 is a battery management system (BMS) developed to work together with and protect Victron Lithium Battery Smart 12.8 V and 25.6 V (LiFePO4 or LFP). The system is specially adapted for use in systems with Victron inverters or inverter/chargers that have VE.Bus communication.
BMS V2 monitors and protects the batteries by managing over- and undervoltage in each individual cell, as well as protecting against over- or undertemperature. This ensures that the battery operates under optimal conditions.
The VE.Bus BMS V2 system generates a pre-alarm signal to warn of imminent cell undervoltage, and disables loads via a dedicated load disconnect terminal if undervoltage occurs.
To protect the batteries from overvoltage or temperature issues, the BMS disables both charging in VE.Bus inverter/chargers and other connected chargers through charge disconnect.
The system also offers remote on/off functions, enabling remote control of the entire system. Integration with a GX device makes it possible to disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers and control multiple VE.Bus devices such as Digital Multi Control or VE.Bus Smart dongle.
