VE.Bus BMS NG is a complete battery management system developed for Victron's Lithium NG batteries. It is specially designed for systems using Victron's inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication. The system monitors and protects the batteries against both overvoltage and undervoltage in each individual cell as well as against excessively high or low temperatures. It provides reliable protection to extend the battery life and ensure operational reliability.

Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, no external accessories are needed for monitoring – the BMS communicates directly with all Lithium NG batteries in the system, allowing you to easily follow the status via the VictronConnect app. Important information is displayed in real time, such as the battery's state of charge (SoC), temperature, any warnings, and alarms. No separate SmartShunt is needed either, as the VE.Bus BMS NG itself receives current data and charging information directly from the batteries.

The system has several practical outputs that automatically control switching on and off depending on the battery status. The load disconnect output is used to turn off consumers such as inverters or DC-DC converters at low voltage, while the charge disconnect output protects the battery from overvoltage by disconnecting chargers. A separate pre-alarm output provides early warning before loads are turned off, which can be used to activate a buzzer or warning light. There is also the possibility of remote control of the system through the external on/off input, providing additional flexibility in installation. With clear LED indicators for both Bluetooth status and alarms, it is easy to see the current operating status directly on the unit.
