Smart BMS 12/200 is an all-in-one battery management system, specially designed for Victron's lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) smart batteries. It is ideal for 12 V systems using a 12 V generator, making it perfect for installation in both vehicles and boats.

This unit combines several important functions in a compact and robust solution: current limiter, battery combiner, and battery protection. With Smart BMS 12/200, you can safely connect generators of all sizes, loads, and chargers to Smart Lithium batteries while protecting the starter battery from excessive discharge.

The battery management system monitors each individual cell in the battery (or battery bank) and can disconnect the AC generator, charging source, or DC loads if the battery voltage becomes too low or high, or if the temperature becomes too high. The generator connection has a current limit that controls the energy flow from the generator to the battery, contributing to optimal safety.

The unit is also equipped with Bluetooth, allowing you to easily monitor and configure the system wirelessly via Victron's app. Additionally, there is a remote on/off function, enabling the system to be turned off via a remote switch, and a pre-alarm contact that warns before the BMS disconnects the batteries from the system.
