B&G Vulcan 7R: 7" Sailing Plotter (No Transducer) is the perfect sailing plotter for small racing and leisure boats. It has a clear and easy-to-use 7-inch touchscreen, designed to be as intuitive as a tablet or smartphone. The screen is bright and readable even in direct sunlight, and the responsive touchscreen gives you smooth fingertip control, even in tough conditions with splashes and rough seas. Zoom with two fingers, swipe and tap to easily add waypoints and routes as well as display chart details.
You can plan your routes quickly and easily by placing waypoints with a single tap on the nautical chart, and Vulcan guides you to your destination with clear, intuitive graphics and data. With compatible nautical charts, you can also benefit from automatic routes, where Vulcan’s software chooses the safest path to your destination.
Vulcan 7R can be seamlessly integrated with your existing system and is ready for Broadband Radar™ and ForwardScan™, giving you the ability to get forward-looking sonar and radar data. It also has built-in Wi-Fi, making it easy to connect and update the system wirelessly.
As an advanced navigation tool, Vulcan 7R can also be used to control your B&G autopilot directly from the touchscreen. You can change course, tack, gybe or sail by wind or compass, and thanks to advanced sailing algorithms, the autopilot becomes as precise and reliable as a skilled helmsman.
Vulcan 7R also offers important sailing features such as SailSteer, SailingTime, RacePanel and Laylines, making it an indispensable tool for both leisure sailing and racing.
It is also designed to withstand tough marine conditions with an IPX6 & IPX7 waterproof rating and has a power consumption of 12 W during normal use, with a maximum consumption of 20 W. It is powered by 12V (10–17V), making it both efficient and reliable.
