Feel safer on the water with the V60-B VHF marine radio, a powerful communication solution that offers both safety and flexibility. With a built-in Class B AIS transponder, you can both see and be seen by other AIS-equipped boats nearby, helping to avoid collisions and increase safety under all conditions, day and night. The AIS transponder sends your boat position to other vessels while simultaneously monitoring their positions. This information can be displayed directly on the radio's screen or transferred to a compatible chartplotter or radar.
The V60-B is equipped with a detachable handheld microphone that can be connected both at the front and back of the radio. Using optional extension cables, the microphone and radio can be mounted separately, making installation simple and hassle-free. This gives you the option to mount the radio on the ceiling without cables hanging down, while placing the microphone conveniently on a panel below.
For even greater flexibility, you can add up to two optional H60 wireless handsets. Each handset duplicates the radio's display and controls, allowing you to use all functions from anywhere on board. These handsets can also function as an intercom on board, making communication between different parts of the boat easy and smooth.
With a built-in GPS receiver, you get precise positioning, and the approved Class D DSC function ensures you have reliable emergency radio communication. Additionally, you can integrate the radio with your other marine systems thanks to NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 connections. For additional functionality, you can also add a megaphone or external speaker for better sound distribution on board.
