The Halo™ 3-foot open antenna radar offers an outstanding combination of long and short range, providing precise target separation and minimal noise. This radar is designed for maximum performance at sea, ensuring you always have coverage when you need it. Thanks to the fast startup and reliability, the Halo radar is an excellent choice for navigation in challenging environments. Its low pulse power transmission makes it safe to use at anchorages and marinas, where the risk of collision is higher.
The Halo™ radar delivers outstanding performance through pulse compression technology, enabling accurate detection both at close range and at distances from as little as six meters up to a full 48 nautical miles. You can monitor two areas simultaneously with the dual range mode, giving you the ability to keep track of nearby hazards while monitoring weather cells farther away. Advanced digital signal processing and Beam Sharpening technology help reduce sea clutter and improve target separation, making it easier to identify small or distant objects.
The Halo radar is equipped with several features that enhance safety and increase your situational awareness on the water. MARPA target tracking allows you to follow potential collision risks, and with the VelocityTrack™ Doppler upgrade (optional), you can automatically mark and track approaching objects. There is also a dedicated weather mode, allowing you to follow storm cells in real time, and a bird mode that makes it especially useful for sport and commercial fishermen.
One of the Halo radar’s most impressive features is its fast startup. Thanks to solid state technology, the radar is ready to use directly from standby and can start up from cold in only 16–25 seconds. This eliminates the long warm-up time often associated with traditional pulse radars. The radar’s quiet operation with a brushless motor and worm gear ensures low noise levels, making it ideal for use in both harbors and marinas, and with a fast rotation speed of 48 rpm, you get frequent updates of radar data.
With a range of up to 48 nautical miles and a 3-foot open antenna, the Halo™ radar provides Beam Sharpening technology for improved target separation and accurate readings. It is also equipped with modes for harbor, offshore, weather, and birds, and its dual range function allows monitoring of both nearby and distant areas simultaneously. The radar is also ready to use directly from standby and fully starts in 16–25 seconds, ensuring you always have access to current and accurate radar information.
The radar supports MARPA target tracking for up to 10 targets (20 with dual range) and can be upgraded with VelocityTrack™ Doppler to reduce collision risks. With a maximum wind speed of 70 knots and a maximum range of 48 nautical miles, the Halo™ radar offers excellent safety and reliability for navigation in all conditions.
