Precision-9 Compass is an advanced heading sensor that provides precise information on heading, yaw rate, heel, and roll. By using solid-state sensor technology on nine axes, Precision-9 delivers accurate data that is important for optimizing the boat's navigation system. This technology makes it ideal for integration with Simrad's autopilots, radar systems, multifunction displays, and other NMEA 2000® connected devices onboard.
With its heading accuracy of ±2° after calibration, Precision-9 ensures that you always have reliable and precise heading information, regardless of conditions. Thanks to its adjustable mounting bracket, Precision-9 can be installed almost anywhere onboard. It can be mounted on a bulkhead, directly on a flat surface, or on the mast of steel-hulled vessels, where it avoids magnetic interference. With a waterproof rating of IPX7, it is also perfect for both internal and external installations, making it extremely flexible depending on the boat's layout and needs.
Precision-9 uses NMEA 2000® connection, making it easy to integrate with existing systems onboard. Its low power consumption of 0.4W makes it energy-efficient and compatible with most modern boat installations.
