OP12 Autopilot Controller is a wired remote control that can be paired with the IS42 digital display to create a complete autopilot control unit or used as a dedicated autopilot keypad for Simrad multifunction displays. The OP12 is designed to blend into Simrad's Glass Bridge design, and its compact and low-profile construction makes it a discreet and stylish addition to any helm station.
With an intuitive interface and waterproof silicone buttons, the OP12 is easy to use even under difficult conditions, including with wet hands or gloves. It has dedicated buttons for auto and standby modes, making it easy to activate or deactivate the autopilot with just one press. You can also make course adjustments in steps of 1 or 10 degrees with dual port and starboard buttons, giving you quick and precise control when needed.
When the OP12 is combined with an IS42 display, a fully functional autopilot control unit is created, allowing you to control the autopilot from different locations onboard, perfect for boats with dual helms. Thanks to the NMEA 2000® connection, installation is simple, with a single cable for both power and data.
