Lowrance Outboard Pilot Cable-Steer Pack is a complete and easy-to-install autopilot system that gives you full control over your outboard motor with cable steering. The system is designed for boats up to 30 feet and offers all the features you need to control your motor directly from an HDS autopilot and multifunction display. With this add-on system, you can easily steer towards a course, waypoint, route, or marker, making navigation more precise and comfortable.
The system is equipped with the Lowrance SmartSteer™ interface, which allows you to control both a cable-steered outboard motor and a MotorGuide Xi5 Pinpoint electric motor. One of the major advantages of this system is its user-friendly features, including "One touch" route creation from saved tracks and the ability to repeat these routes with automatic turn patterns, making it easier to handle the boat during long voyages. Outboard Pilot is specially designed for boats with an outboard motor and is recommended for boats up to 30 feet.
The system uses VRF (Virtual Rudder Feedback), which simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a rudder position sensor. This makes installation quick and smooth, especially with the simple configuration guide that guides you through each step. The smart plug-and-play system makes cable routing easy and fast, without complicated connections. Outboard Pilot Cable-Steer Pack is compatible with Morse 290, Morse 304411, and Teleflex SSC52 cable steering systems, making it a flexible choice for different types of boats.
At the heart of the system is the HELM-1 drive unit, which is specifically designed to be used with the NAC-1 autopilot computer. This allows you to replace the manual rudder drive with a powerful, automated solution. The system also offers the possibility to use advanced features such as "One touch" route planning and automatic turn patterns, making boat handling easier and more intuitive.
The system is also covered by Lowrance Advantage Service, which means you get access to reliable customer support and quick help if you need assistance with installation or system functions.
