IS42 Digital Display is a versatile and universal instrument display designed to give you easy and clear access to a variety of data about your boat. The screen shows information such as wind data, speed, depth, engine data, autopilot status, and AIS data. The 4.1-inch color screen is optically bonded to prevent condensation and uses transflective LCD technology that reflects sunlight for improved visibility during the day, which also reduces power consumption compared to traditional screens. With waterproof buttons, the IS42 is easy to use even under tough conditions and with wet hands or gloves.
The IS42 can be configured to display different pages with important information such as wind, boat speed, depth, and engine monitoring. For AIS data, it provides a clear graphical view of nearby AIS-equipped boats, with the ability to set customizable alarm signals to keep track of potential collision risks. Installation is simple with a flush mounting option, meaning you do not need access to the back of the panel. Thanks to the NMEA 2000® connection, you only need one cable for both power and data, further simplifying installation.
To extend functionality, you can add an OP12 keypad, allowing the IS42 to also be used for full control of many Simrad autopilot systems. With its sleek glass bridge design and low profile, the IS42 fits perfectly in modern boat instrument panels.
The IS42 offers high user-friendliness and flexibility, making it compatible with a wide range of sensors and systems onboard via the NMEA 2000® network.
