Frequently Asked Questions

  • Check that the input voltage from the primary battery bank is sufficient to start the charging process. In the VictronConnect app, you may sometimes see a message that says "Why is the charger off?", where you can press for more information. Also, check that all cables are properly connected and that the fuses are intact. If the problem persists, there may be an issue with the cables or connections.

This may be due to low battery voltage or that the inverter is overloaded. Check that the battery is fully charged and that the cables are correctly sized to handle the load you are using. Use the VictronConnect app to monitor status and troubleshoot issues. Consider reducing the load or upgrading to a more powerful inverter if necessary.

Check that the refrigerator has good ventilation and that no airflows are blocked. Ensure that the door is properly closed and that the seals are not worn. Also, check if the compressor is running and measure if it is receiving the correct power. If the compressor runs continuously without the refrigerator getting cold, the refrigerant may have run out. Inspect the cooling system and the connections.

Make sure that the charging profile is correctly set for your battery type via VictronConnect. Also, check that the cables are intact and have the right dimensions to avoid voltage drops. Remember that proper charging and maintenance are important to extend the battery's lifespan.

If the refrigerator is drawing more power than usual, it may be because the compressor is working harder than normal, which can be a sign that the refrigerant is low. Also, ensure that the product has good ventilation and that the connections are secure. This helps to reduce the load on the compressor and extends the system's lifespan.

You can check the error code via the VictronConnect app and refer to the manual to understand what it means. Common errors can be caused by overload, incorrect voltage settings, or temperature issues. Make sure that all connections between the solar panels, controller, and battery are correctly installed.

Charge the battery correctly by using the right charging profile and avoiding deep discharging or overcharging. Use a battery monitor such as Victron BMV-712 or SmartShunt to monitor battery status and prevent excessive load. This helps to optimize the battery's lifespan.

If you see white smoke when starting your heater that then disappears, it is likely a sign of a clogged glow plug filter. This leads to incomplete combustion at startup. The solution is to replace the glow plug filter to ensure that the heater operates correctly.

If you have forgotten the PIN code, you can reset it via the VictronConnect app. Open the app and find your device in the list of local devices. Click on the three dots to the right of the device description and select "Reset PIN code". Then enter the PUK code found on the back of the device to reset the PIN code to the default code 000000
