The Skylla-i remote on-off cable is used to connect a Skylla-i charger to a VE.Bus BMS. The cable allows the VE.Bus BMS to automatically turn off the Skylla-i charger when the batteries are fully charged, helping to protect the batteries from overcharging.
This cable is designed to control the on/off function of the Skylla-i based on the source signal: the charger turns on when the signal is high and turns off when the signal is low or disconnected. The cable enables easy remote control of the Skylla-i in systems that require reliable and automatic shutdown of charging.
The cable includes a maximum input voltage of 70 V, and to activate the charger a minimum input voltage of approximately 6 V is required. The charger turns off when the input voltage is less than 1 V or disconnected, ensuring that the charging process is controlled accurately and efficiently.
