SmartSolar MPPT 250/85-MC4 VE.Can is a high-performance solar charger developed to optimize energy management in solar power systems. With advanced MPPT technology (Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking), it ensures that the maximum amount of energy from the solar panels is collected and stored in the batteries. This technology makes the charger especially efficient under varying light conditions, such as cloudy weather or changing light intensity, making it ideal for both small and large energy systems.
It is equipped with MC4 connectors for quick and secure connection to the solar panels, making installation simple and efficient. The charger handles panels up to 150 or 250 Volt-Voc and charges battery banks at 12V, 24V, or 48V with a current of up to 85 A. Thanks to programmable charging settings, it is compatible with different battery types, including lead-acid and lithium, making it flexible for a variety of applications.
With built-in Bluetooth, the SmartSolar MPPT 250/85-MC4 VE.Can can be easily monitored and configured via the VictronConnect app. You can directly from your smartphone or tablet monitor parameters such as PV voltage, battery voltage, current, and historical data as well as adjust charging settings. For more advanced monitoring and control, the charger can be connected to a GX device, providing access to Victron Remote Management (VRM), a free portal that allows system management from anywhere in the world.
With VE.Can connections, multiple chargers can be connected in series to work together. They synchronize their charging stages and share data via a single cable to a GX device, providing centralized and efficient management of the entire system. This makes the charger perfect for large installations with high energy capacity.
For local monitoring, the charger can be equipped with an optional SmartSolar control display. This display provides real-time information about the charger and battery status as well as the ability to adjust settings directly on site, offering additional user-friendliness.
The SmartSolar MPPT 250/85-MC4 VE.Can is also designed to handle deeply discharged batteries and can charge batteries with a voltage as low as 0 V, provided the cells have not been permanently damaged. Its robust design and high-quality components ensure long-lasting and stable operation, even under the most demanding conditions.
