The DC output from the SmartSolar MPPT is connected in parallel with the DC connection on the MultiPlus-II, ensuring that the two units work seamlessly together. The on/off function for the MultiPlus-II also controls the SmartSolar MPPT, creating a simple and efficient energy management system that optimizes solar energy production and battery usage.
The included GX unit offers advanced connectivity options with a BMS CAN interface for compatible batteries, a USB port, an Ethernet port, and a VE.Direct port. The GX unit acts as a central control center and manages both the MultiPlus-II and SmartSolar MPPT via VE.Bus and VE.Direct connections, ensuring coordinated and efficient operation of the entire system.
