BlueSolar MPPT 250/70-Tr VE.Can is a high-performance solar charger that maximizes energy conversion from solar panels to batteries. With ultra-fast MPPT technology (Maximum Power Point Tracking), the charger ensures that all available energy from the panels is captured and stored efficiently, even under challenging conditions such as cloudiness or varying light intensity. The charger can handle solar panels up to 150 or 250 Volt-Voc and automatically charges 12V, 24V, or 48V battery banks with a current of up to 70 A. Thanks to programmable charging settings, it is compatible with various battery types, including lead-acid and lithium, making it flexible for many different systems. The charger can also charge batteries with a voltage as low as 0 V, provided the battery does not have permanently damaged cells.
The built-in Bluetooth function enables smooth remote control via the VictronConnect app, giving you full control of the charger directly from a smartphone or tablet. You can monitor parameters such as PV voltage, battery voltage, and current, as well as manage charging settings and access historical data. For more advanced monitoring and control, the charger can be integrated into a larger system using the VE.Can ports. These allow daisy-chaining multiple VE.Can SmartSolar chargers, where the units synchronize their charging stages and share data via a single cable to a GX device for centralized management.
For installations requiring local monitoring, the charger can be complemented with a SmartSolar control display that connects directly to the unit. The display provides real-time information about the charger’s and batteries’ status and makes it easy to manage settings on-site. The charger also has a VE.Direct port for additional monitoring options and a remote on/off switch that can be connected to third-party devices such as lithium batteries.
In installations with internet connectivity, the charger can be connected to a GX device for remote access via Victron Remote Management (VRM). This free portal provides global access to the system’s performance and enables extensive control and analysis. For remote installations without internet connection, GlobalLink 520 can be used to ensure access to important data and monitoring.
