Repairing older items can often be both better and more environmentally friendly than buying new. One of the companies focusing on repair is Victron, which specializes in mobile power supply.
Victron has appointed Thermoprodukter in Kalmar as their service and repair partner in Sweden. Instead of sending products to Holland or Denmark for service and repair, they can be sent to Kalmar.
Victron has several distributors in Sweden who have collectively contributed to strong growth in recent years.
– It has gone very well both on the marine side and in other segments, and customers appreciate our complete range for power management as well as the simplicity of the products and our unique five-year warranty, says Henrik Nilsson, sales manager for Victron in Sweden and Norway.
– We have allocated significant resources and recruited staff to manage this. Victron's support and service department sees this as brand-building rather than a cost, which aligns well with our spirit, explains Erik Petersson at Thermoprodukter.
– We have similar arrangements with other major suppliers like Navico and Motorguide, so we are used to handling the entire chain even for products we do not have exclusive sales rights for.
