Quattro 12/5000/220-100/100 120V from Victron Energy is a powerful inverter and battery charger that combines high performance with versatility. One of the unique features of the Quattro is its dual AC inputs, allowing connection of two separate power sources, such as the grid and a generator. It automatically switches between these sources depending on availability, ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted power supply, even if one of the sources fails.
This 12V model offers 5000 VA continuous power with a charging capacity of 220 A and a peak power of 10000 W. It is compatible with various battery types and is perfect for applications requiring stable and powerful energy management.
With PowerAssist technology, Quattro can boost the capacity of shore power or generator by temporarily supplying extra power from the battery during short peaks in power consumption. This prevents overloading of power sources and ensures a stable energy supply even under high load. Additionally, the unit supports parallel connection and three-phase operation, allowing multiple units to be used together to increase total capacity – a perfect solution for larger installations.
One of the most important features is Quattro's UPS function (Uninterruptible Power Supply). In the event of a power outage or if the generator is disconnected, Quattro automatically takes over the power supply to the connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds, ensuring that sensitive equipment, such as computers and other electronics, continues to operate without interruption.
To optimize energy consumption at low load, Quattro has a search mode, where the unit significantly reduces power consumption when not actively used. This makes it especially efficient for off-grid systems and other installations where energy saving is prioritized.
Quattro also offers advanced customization options through its programmable relay, which can be used to activate alarms, start generators, or other functions. With VE.Bus, the unit can be integrated into advanced energy systems and monitored or controlled via a GX device such as Cerbo GX. Through the VRM app, you can monitor and control the system remotely, change settings, and receive notifications directly to your smartphone, no matter where you are.
