EFOY 2800 BT Pro 12/24V is the largest model in the EFOY series and has an impressive capacity of 250 Ah per day, making it the perfect power generator for both 12 V and 24 V batteries. The integrated charge controller continuously monitors the charge level of your battery and charges it automatically when needed. When the battery is fully charged, the fuel cell shuts itself off and goes into standby mode. This ensures that you always have full energy reserves and protects the battery from damage caused by deep discharge.
To be able to use 230 V consumers, such as coffee machines or hair dryers, an inverter is required (see Victron inverter). Unlike the previous Comfort model, the EFOY 2800 BT Pro is compatible with both 12 V and 24 V batteries. It lacks a physical control panel but is instead monitored via the EFOY app on your smartphone or tablet. The OP3 control panel is available as an accessory for those who want a physical solution.
With the EFOY app, you can easily control and monitor your EFOY products. Here you can see important information about the fuel cell, battery, and fuel cartridge. The app shows how much the fuel cell is charging and how much fuel is left. You can also make all settings, including battery type, charging thresholds, and voltage.
EFOY fuel cells use DMFC technology (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) to convert chemical energy into electrical energy with minimal efficiency loss. The methanol in the fuel cartridge combines with oxygen from the air to produce electricity. In addition to charging current, waste heat and water vapor with low carbon dioxide emissions are generated, making the EFOY 2800 BT Pro both efficient and environmentally friendly.
