BEP Battery Distribution Cluster for Twin Outboard is an intelligent and efficient solution for managing charging and power distribution in boats with two outboard motors and three battery banks. This system is specially designed to optimize battery management by automatically controlling the charging distribution between start and consumption batteries, ensuring that all batteries remain charged without manual switching.
The system allows the port engine to charge both the port start battery and the consumption battery when the Digital Voltage Sensing Relay (DVSR) is activated. At the same time, the starboard engine can charge the starboard start battery as well as the consumption battery when its DVSR is active. This means that the house battery receives charging from both engines until the voltage regulators on both engines adjust the charging.
An additional advantage is that the consumption battery is still charged even if only one engine is running, making the system ideal for long journeys or when one engine is used at low RPM. In this way, continuous charging and operational reliability are ensured regardless of conditions.
